Remi is a 7 year old Blue Great Dane. She weighs approximately 130 pounds.
Remi was born on August 22, 2003. She has 8 other brothers and sisters. Remi and her siblings were given to rescue (San Gabriel Valley Great Dane Rescue) after their parents had an accidental breeding. The rescue organization was successful in finding good homes for all 9 puppies.
After being adopted out twice and returned back to rescue due to unfortunate circumstances from the adopted owners, Remi came to live with Samson and me on November 26, 2005 (Thanksgiving weekend) at the age of 2 years old.
Remi spends her days sleeping on my bed, playing with her toys, protecting her house, and keeping an eye on all her kitties. As Remi is a bit younger than her counter-part, Samson, Remi has more bursts of energy and Zoomies. Remi's favorites toys are stuffed animals with squeekies in them. She methodically removes all the stuffing in order to remove the squeeky inside.
Remi is also a Registered Therapy Dog with Therapy Dogs, Inc. Remi enjoys visiting Senior Citizen homes to spread her puppy love around with those that are no longer able to have a dog of their own.
Remi's favorite place is the dog park and the beach.
Remi's best friends are Samson and Toby.
